Earl Galvin first opened the doors to Galvin Appliance in 1934. At that time we were located in Berkley on University Ave. Our location has changed several times throughout the years until we settled into our current location on San Pablo Avenue in 1986.

A lot has changed in both the appliance industry and Albany over the years, but one thing has stayed the same: our commitment to provide the best service, the best prices, and the best products.

Due to our high level of customer service we have many satisfied repeat customers. Our customers often say they have been "Galvinized". Once you have experienced the level of service that our highly trained sales and service personnel provide, it is unlikely that you will shop anywhere else for appliances. Not only is Galvin Appliance a great place to shop, but it's also a great place to work. Several of our employees have been with us for over 20 years. In fact, they are more like family than employees. On average our salespeople have over 15 years experience in the appliance industry and our technicians average over 10 years experience.

We operate our own delivery department with Galvin Appliance employees. From sale to delivery we want to insure that you receive the highest level of service.
